Organizations, whether you are in the public, private, service or manufacturing sectors are undergoing a great deal of pressure to “change”.

The expectations and skills required of the supervisors/leaders are changing dramatically also. People skills, dealing with each other and the political environment are all part of this Leadership Development course. Sections of this course has been given to private, public, and volunteer organizations with excellent results. Supervisors require training as do all employees in today’s organizations.

The pressures and difficulties and the bureaucracy that supervisors are under cannot be appreciated nor understood by someone who has not been there. Brian King has been there and brings 23 years of Senior Management experience to the table. His teaching style incorporating real world examples and understanding of the business world have made him a well respected and sought after facilitator.

The course is designed around participants building a road of interlocking bricks (module). Each module by itself is important but when it is used together with other bricks (modules), you will have a stronger and more supportive structure.

    This module discusses the concept of motivation. Participants will learn what and how a leader can determine the motivators of their employees. Recent theories of work motivators and the motivating practices will be presented. <<

    This module includes the situational leadership styles and techniques to determine the most effective leadership style. The participants will learn how and when to effectively delegate. <<
  • Creating and Maintaining Effective Teams >>
    This module explores the concepts of teams from development to synergy. Participants will learn the stages of team growth and the how to make effective teams. <<
  • Changing Business Environment - Changing Management >>
    This module discusses the changes that are taking place in the business and working environment of today. Participants will be involved in group activities designed to explore the changing work environment and the issues that leaders are and will be facing in their organizations. <<
